Our Occupational Therapy Approach
We thoroughly evaluate each child’s motor skills, sensory processing, and ability to perform daily activities — taking into account developmental milestones, family goals, and individual strengths. Our licensed OTs support your family through every stage, from initial assessment to ongoing therapy and progress monitoring.
Fine Motor & Handwriting
We help children develop the hand strength, coordination, and control needed for writing, cutting, buttoning, and other tasks essential for school and daily life.
Sensory Processing
For children who are over- or under-responsive to sensory input, our OTs use evidence-based sensory integration techniques to help them regulate, focus, and participate in everyday activities.
Licensed OTs Only
All occupational therapy is delivered by therapists licensed through the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, ensuring the highest standard of pediatric care for your child.
Building Independence
Occupational therapy is essential to helping your child gain the skills needed for daily independence. At Creative Thinkers, our experienced OTs collaborate with your family to identify your child’s unique sensory and motor needs and create a tailored treatment plan. In Minnesota, pediatric OT services are covered under Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, and most private insurance plans.

See What Our Families Are Saying
“Our son used to struggle with getting dressed, holding a pencil, and sitting still in class. After just a few months of occupational therapy at Creative Thinkers, he’s more independent and confident than ever. The OT gave us exercises to practice at home that really made a difference.”
