Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This position involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to patient care and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in intervention approaches.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs.
- Educate families and staff on behavioral health strategies, progress updates, and best practices for patient care.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards set by the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/ Licensed Behavioral Analyst (LBA)
- Experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities.
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and developing evidence-based interventions.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis, supervision, documentation, and maintaining records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations within behavioral health or special education settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a compassionate manner.
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
