Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each client’s needs.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client behavior and progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide patient care by engaging clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development.
- Educate families on strategies to reinforce positive behaviors at home.Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to special education and behavioral therapy.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others improve their lives through behavioral therapy.
- Previous experience in special education or related fields is a plus.
